WVU Offensive Starters…Coach Rich Rodriguez has been very quiet about who they are. Now it looks like Coach Rich Rodriguez has determined who will be starting for Mountaineers against Coastal Carolina…or at least who is starting right now.
On August 15th, the Mountaineers had a team scrimmage. The Voice of Morgantown listed your starting offensive lineup for the 2026 WVU Mountaineers.
The Voice of the Morgantown had a source who was in attendance for West Virginia’s scrimmage. The Mountaineers starting offense consisted of QB Michael Hawkins, Jr., RB Cam Cook, WR Jaden Bray, WR DJ Epps, and WR Prince Strachan. TE Ryan Ward and the offensive line of Kevin Brown, Nick Krahe, Wes King, Amare “Bubba” Grayson and Carsten Casady.

There are many practices still left before the first game. Coach Rich Rodriguez has made it very clear that competition will continue. However, this group has way more experience and proven production than last year’s starters.
Some questions that were asked were: How’s Kevin Brown looking? Answer by their source was “As good or better than advertised.”
What about TaRon Francis? Answer: “Currently, running with the 2s.”
